Guidões is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in northern Portugal .
Guidões belongs to the group Trofa in the district of Porto . The community had an area of 4.7 km² and 1663 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).
On September 29, 2013, the municipalities of Guidões and Alvarelhos were merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Alvarelhos e Guidões .
