Guido Henke (born September 14, 1964 in Haldensleben ) is a German politician ( Die Linke ) and a member of the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt .

Life and work

Guido Henke finished his school career in 1983 with the Abitur and from 1983 to 1986 did his military service with the guard regiment "Feliks Dzierzynski". There he studied law , graduating with a graduate lawyer . From 1990 to 1993 he was a research assistant in the PDS parliamentary groups of the People's Chamber , the Bundestag and the Saxon Landtag . From 1993 to 2006 he worked as an association lawyer and from 1999 to 2006 as general manager of the Saxony-Anhalt construction trade association .

politics

Henke was a member of the SED from 1986 to 1990 . He did not join the PDS , but sat from 2006 ( 5th electoral period ) for the party in the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt . Henke became an elected member of the state parliament via the state list. He sat for his group in the Committee on Finance and in the Committee on Regional Development and Transport. Since 2009 he has been a member of the Die Linke party . In 2016 he failed to be re-elected to the state parliament.

After the federal election on September 24, 2017, he returned to the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt on November 6, 2017 as a replacement for Birke Bull-Bischoff . After two members of the state parliament gave up their state parliament mandate after being elected to the Bundestag, he was the first candidate to succeed him on the list of the LEFT. Since his return to the state parliament, his main focus has been on the regional development and transport committee.
