Guido II (Ponthieu)
Guido II († December 25, 1147 in Ephesus ) was a Count of Ponthieu from the House of Montgommery . He was a son of Count Wilhelm Talvas von Ponthieu-Alençon († 1172) and his wife Hélie of Burgundy.
Before 1129, Guido received the county of Ponthieu from his father. Around 1137 he founded the Cistercian Abbey of Valloires . He joined the Second Crusade under King Ludwig VII in 1146 , on which he died on December 25, 1147 in Ephesus after an illness.
His wife was named Ida, with whom he had three children:
