Guido Szesni (born June 30, 1959 in Andernach ) is a former German football player .

In his youth, Szesni played for Spvgg Andernach . From 1980 to 1982 he played for MSV Duisburg and in the 1985/1986 season for 1. FC Saarbrücken as a midfielder in the first Bundesliga . From 1982 to 1985 and from 1986 to 1989 he played for VfL Osnabrück and 1. FC Saarbrücken in the 2nd Bundesliga .

During this time he played a total of 215 games, including 76 in the first division, 7 in the DFB Cup and 1 relegation game . He scored 20 goals, four of them in the top class and 16 in the second. He received 22 yellow cards and one red card .

He played the most appearances against well-known clubs, namely five each against FC Bayern Munich , VfB Stuttgart and VfL Bochum and even six against Hamburger SV , where he scored one of his four first division goals.

After his active time, Szesni opened a sports shop together with his former SpVgg club mate Enrico Ludwig in their hometown of Andernach.
