Guillermo Sergio Imhoff (born October 11, 1982 in San Jerónimo Norte ) is an Argentine football player who played for the Swiss club FC Sion until December 2010 .

Career

Guillermo Luis Imhoff began his career with the Argentine club CA Colón . There he completed 14 games in two years and scored one goal. In 2005 he was loaned to Huracán de Tres Arroyos . After eleven games, his loan period ended and from 2005 to 2006 he was loaned to CA Gimnasia y Esgrima de Jujuy . There he played 14 games. In 2006 he returned to CA Colón, but then only came to four games.

In the summer of 2007 Imhoff completed a trial training session lasting several days at FC Wacker Innsbruck . Despite language barriers, Imhoff was particularly convincing through his leadership qualities in the four-man defense chain and finally received a contract for one year. After he had only played four games after one year, he moved to the Bolivian club Club Jorge Wilstermann . There he was able to get a regular seat for the first time and played a total of 29 games from 2009 to 2010 and scored one goal. In January 2010 he returned to Europe and moved to Switzerland for FC Sion . There he signed a contract until 2012.
