Guitar is a music project by Michael Lückner (also known as Digital Jockey and member of the computer jockeys group ) that was launched in 2002. Band history

Michael Lückner studied philosophy, aesthetics and social psychology at the Ruhr University Bochum. Together with Wolfgang Hagedorn he founded the group computer jockeys, which released their first album in 1999 and were then commissioned by MTV to produce the title songs and soundtracks for the series Golden Boy and Lupine III . 2001 her second album, Plankton, followed .

Under the pseudonym Digital Jockey , Lückner released his first solo album 8 Studies in Dub in 2000 . The albums Paradies and Fragment (2002) and Codeine Dub (2006) followed. In 2002 the first guitar album Sunkissed was released . While this was still primarily dedicated to guitar sounds, Lückner expanded the concept from the second album Honeysky (2004) by including other stringed instruments.

The use of Asian elements and an experimental working method are characteristic of Michael Lückner's productions. He mainly uses electronic sounds and samples.

Other members listed on Guitar's MySpace page include Peter Marchese and Henning Neuser ( Voyager One ).
