Gungthang Rinpoche
Gungthang Rinpoche ( Tibetan གུང་ ཐང་ རིན་ པོ་ ཆེ ། Wylie Gung thang rin po che ) or Gongtang Tshang Rinpoche etc. by Labrang Tashikyil is the title of an important Trülku (Chinese huofo "living Buddha") - incarnation line of the Gelug -School of Tibetan Buddhism . Its traditional ancestral home is the Labrang Monastery in Amdo in the Chinese province of Gansu , which was founded in 1710 and is the second important monastery in Amdo after the Kumbum Monastery.
