Detri Rinpoche ( Tibetan སྡེ་ ཁྲི་ རིན་ པོ་ ཆེ ། Wylie sde khri rin po che ) by Labrang Tashikyil is the title of a Trülku (Chinese huofo "Living Buddha") - incarnation line of the Gelug school of Tibetan Buddhism . Its traditional ancestral home is the Labrang Monastery in Amdo in the Chinese province of Gansu , which was founded in 1710 and is the second important monastery in Amdo after the Kumbum Monastery.

The third Detri Rinpoche Jamyang Thubten Nyima (1779-1862) founded in 1814 in the convent Labrang the Dewa-tshang- Manjushri - Bodhisattva -Halle and author of dPal dus kyi 'Khor lo'i bskyed-rim Gyi rnam bzhag jam dpal zhal lung ( A representation of the generation stage of the Glorious Kalachakra : The Oral Tradition of Manjushri). He is also the founder of the Shitshang Monastery ( Ch . Xicang si西 仓 寺) in Luqu County, Gansu Province .
