Gunilla Lindberg
Gunilla Lindberg (born May 6, 1947 in Upplands Väsby ) is a Swedish sports official.
General
Gunilla Lindberg has been working for the Swedish NOK since 1969. 1984 became Deputy General Secretary, 1989 then General Secretary. She still holds this office today. Since 1984 she has accompanied the Swedish Olympic teams as deputy chef de mission . At the summer and winter games between 1984 and 1996, she was also press chief of the Swedish delegations. Since 1993 she has been a member of the umbrella organization of the National Olympic Committees in Europe EOC and since 2004 General Secretary of the Association of National Olympic Committees .
IOC membership
In 1996 Gunilla Lindberg was elected an IOC member. From 2004 to 2008 she was IOC Vice President. She is currently a member of the commissions for the Olympic program, for Olympic solidarity and for evaluating the award of the 2024 Winter Olympics.
