Ål Lars Gunnar Larsson (born July 1, 1944 in Dala-Järna ) is a former Swedish cross-country skier .

Career

Larsson, who started for Hulåns IF , won the North American Championships in 1967. The following year he won the bronze medal over 15 km and the silver medal with the relay at the 1968 Winter Olympics in Grenoble . He also took eighth place over 30 km and sixth place over 50 km. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1970 in Štrbské Pleso , he achieved 24th place over 15 km. Two years later, at the 1972 Winter Olympics in Sapporo, he came in 20th place over 50 km, eighth place over 15 km and fourth place over 30 km and with the relay. In the Swedish championships he won over 30 km in 1969 and over 15 km in 1971. His son Mats was also a cross-country skier.
