Gunnar Petersen (* 1939 or 1940) is a German actor and theater maker who comes from Hamburg . Since 1990 he has organized the annual summer theater in the courtyard of the Glyptothek in Munich together with his wife, the actress Beles Adam .

Life

He began his acting career at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus in Hamburg. There he stood on stage with stars like Hannelore Hoger . Engagements in Basel and Munich followed. In 1968 he met Beles Adam, who was involved in the Kammerspiele, during a joint engagement.

In 1974 Petersen and Adam founded the free “studio theater” in the “Fuchsbau” in Munich, a pyramid high-rise in Schwabing , north of the Münchner Freiheit . There, among others, Volker Spengler , Claude-Oliver Rudolph , Max Tidof and Marianne Sägebrecht performed .

After eleven years, the “studio theater” moved to the PEP shopping center in Perlach because of a rent increase.

Petersen and Adam later rented a theater tent, which they set up in an undeveloped area near Munich's Olympic Park, and opened a new stage there under the name “Das Schloss”. In 2009 the couple left the project after economic and organizational difficulties. "Das Schloss" continues to exist as an event location.
