The company has been owned by the Fischer family since it was founded in 1963. Production takes place exclusively at the Peuerbach location . The products are sold across Europe through over 120 sales and service outlets in 18 countries (as of 2015). The export quota in 2011 was over 70%. 27% of the biomass boilers sold in Europe come from Upper Austria , Guntamatic has a leading share in this. The company is a pioneer especially in the development of heating devices for plant fuels.
history
The company was founded in 1963 by Georg and Eugen Fischer at the Peuerbach site and has been family-owned ever since.
In 1968 the first log boiler with lower burnout was developed. The first wood chip heating system was built in 1985. In 1998 the product range was expanded to include low-temperature pellet heating systems . The world's first mass-produced Energiekorn heating system was presented in 2004, and in 2009 the world's first mass-produced wall-mounted pellet device was developed.
