Gunter Saake

Gunter Saake (born October 5, 1960 in Göttingen ) is a German computer scientist .

Life

Gunter Saake studied computer science at the Technical University of Braunschweig until 1985 , received his doctorate there in 1988 and worked at the IBM Heidelberg Scientific Center from 1988 to 1989. In 1993 he received the Venia Legendi from the Technical University of Braunschweig. Since 1994 Gunter Saake has held the professorship for practical computer science / databases and information systems at the Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg . From October 2012 to 2014 he was Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg.
