Guntram (Wormsgau)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Guntram (* 815 ; † 837 ) was the eldest son of Count Rutpert III. (Robert III.) In Wormsgau and in Oberrheingau , from the Rupertiner family , and his wife Wiltrud (Waldrada) von Orléans .

Guntram followed his father after his death in 834 as Count in Wormsgau, but died in 837, probably without descendants. He was followed by his brother Robert the Brave , who, however, went to the West Franconian Empire in 840 and was inherited in Wormsgau by their brother-in-law Walaho IV .
