Gurgen Dabaghyan

Gurgen Dabaghyan ( Armenian Գուրգեն Դաբաղյան ; born March 10, 1988 in Yerevan ) is an Armenian singer.

The son of the singer Levon Dabaghyan and nephew of the Duduk player Geworg Dabaghyan was impressed as a child by a film about the singer Sayat Nova and began to sing his songs. His first CD 8-aged fair-child to his native country was released in the USA in 1996. In the same year he won first prize with the Aram Merangulyan Ensemble at the festival "My independent Armenia is five years old". A CD ( I'm 10 ) followed in 1998.

In 2000 his CD The Little Prince of the Armenian Song was released . Dabaghyan has given solo concerts in the USA, Germany, England, Russia, Egypt, Ukraine and Iran and in 2003 was honored as the best singer in the Road to the future competition organized by the Armenia Foundation . Further concerts followed in the great concert hall of the Armenian Philharmonic, in Saint Petersburg and other cities in Russia, in Ukraine and Los Angeles. He released his third CD under the title Moscow winks . In addition to his concert activities, Dabaghyan studies music at the Yerevan Conservatory .
