Gustav Adolf Church (Emsdetten)
The Evangelical Gustav Adolf Church is a listed church building in Emsdetten in the Steinfurt district ( North Rhine-Westphalia ), Kirchstrasse 39.
History and architecture
The hall church in a late historical style influenced by Art Nouveau was built in 1912 under the direction of Hugo Kölling. The plastered building is structured by large, multi-lane windows, brick masonry and ocher-colored relief decoration. The main entrance is in the tower , which is covered with a mansard pyramid roof. A transverse barrel vault was drawn into the community room, the sanctuary is semicircular. Only the chairs have been preserved from the original furnishings from the construction period.
