It is located on the west side of Gustav-Adolf-Straße in Magdeburg's old town .

Architecture and history

The four and a half story residential and commercial building was built in 1897 by the building contractor Wilhelm Hoffmann for the construction company D. Hoffmann. The plastered six-axis building is representative in the neo-baroque style and lavishly decorated with ornamental and figurative stucco elements . There is a colossal structure of pilasters . Box oriels are added in front of the upper floors of the outer axes . The oriels are also decorated with stucco and provided with vertical gables and cloverleaf arches. The cornice is clearly highlighted. The building is covered by a flat roof .

In the local register of monuments , the residential and commercial building is listed as a monument under registration number 094 17422 .
