Gustav Isernhagen

Gustav Isernhagen (born January 20, 1937 in Soltau ) is a former German politician ( CDU ).

Life

After attending elementary school in Mittelstendorf and Soltau from 1943 to 1952, Isernhagen completed an apprenticeship at the Deutsche Bundespost , where he worked from 1955 until his election as a member of the state parliament in 1982, and since 1968 as operations manager of the Wietzendorf post office . Gustav Isernhagen is married and has two grown children.

From 1972 Isernhagen was councilor of the Wietzendorf community, in 1973 he became a member of the CDU; from 1974 to 2002 he was mayor. From 1976 to 2006 he belonged to the district council of the district Soltau-Fallingbostel / Heidekreis as deputy. Group chairman, from 1996 to 2001 as chairman. From 1997 to 2007 I. was chairman of the supervisory board of the Heidekreisklinikum .

Isernhagen worked from 1982 in the district, state and federal board of the Evangelical Working Group of the CDU / CSU, was state chairman from 1988 to 1999 and deputy from 1995 to 2007. Federal chairman, also assessor in the state executive committee of the CDU. In 1982 he was elected to the Lower Saxony state parliament as a member of the CDU and was a member of the state parliament from June 21, 1982 to June 20, 1994, and chairman of the committee for internal administration from June 27, 1990 to June 20, 1994.

In addition to politics, he became involved in the board of the Lower Saxon Lutheran Heimvolkshochschule Hermannsburg , which he had attended in 1959/60, and in the organs of the Evangelical Lutheran Mission in Hermannsburg (1973-2006).

In his hometown Isernhagen was active as chairman of the DRK from 1975 to 2002 and as founder and chairman of the local association Peetshof Wietzendorf eV from 1988 to 2007 . In his parish ZION Soltau, Isernhagen contributed from 1952 to 2007 as an organist and - from 1957 to 1977 - as a choirmaster.

From 2008 to 2015 Isernhagen was the representative of the district of Heidekreis for the forum Plattdüütsch Heidekreis .
