Gustav Klusak

Gustav Klusak (born November 16, 1903 in Oderberg , Silesia; † June 2, 1987 ) was a German business lawyer.

Career

After graduating from the humanistic grammar school in Bielitz , he studied law and political science in Graz , Grenoble and Krakow and graduated with a doctorate. jur. from. From 1928 to 1937 he was the head of the legal and tax department of the West Polish Agricultural Society. In 1937 he became a full-time member of the board there. From 1941 he was legal advisor of the Association of German Cooperatives in Wartheland and in 1943 was appointed permanent representative of the association director. Towards the end of the Second World War he was taken prisoner by the Soviets .

From 1946 he was legal advisor of the Association of Rural Cooperatives Hanover-Braunschweig and in 1950 he was elected to the board of the association. In the German Raiffeisen Association he was a member of the administrative board from 1949 and in 1951 took over the chairmanship of the committee for labor and social law. After Heinrich Lübke was appointed Federal Minister of Food, Klusak succeeded him as Attorney General and Chief Executive Officer.
