Gustav Müller (born October 26, 1908 in Gumbinnen , † October 8, 1973 in Georgsmarienhütte ) was a German politician ( GB / BHE ).

Life

Müller attended secondary school in his hometown from 1914 to 1923 and then did an apprenticeship as a baker. In 1926 he passed the journeyman's examination and had his time at the Gumbinnen baker's guild. In March 1930 he passed the master's examination in the bakery trade at the Gumbinnen Chamber of Crafts. On November 1, 1930, he joined the NSDAP ( membership number 367.277). From November 16, 1931 to June 30, 1938, he worked as a self-employed baker. In 1933 Müller was in the DAF and in the Reichsgruppe Handwerk and in 1935 in the NSV . In addition, Müller was district craftsman and from October 1, 1933 to July 1, 1938 chairman of the Gumbinnen district craftsmen, district head of the crafts of the NSDAP and district craftsman of the DAF, and from July 1, 1938 to June 30, 1939 he was managing director of the Königsberg Chamber of Crafts. As managing director of the district craftsmen's associations, he also worked in Allenstein and Neidenburg. From 1939 to 1945 Müller took over as Stabsgefreiter in radio reporting service with the Air Force on World War II ( invasion of Poland , western campaign ) part and came afterwards in English prisoner of war (POW Camp in 2375 from 13 May to 15 December 1945).

From 1946 he worked as a refugee supervisor. He was a co-founder of the Association of Expelled Germans in the Osnabrück area. In 1948 he became a member of the district assembly and council member of his place of residence. On October 22, 1948, he was denazified as a supporter of National Socialism in category IV by the main denazification committee in Osnabrück . In the second and third electoral terms he was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament , which he belonged to from November 25, 1953, when he replaced Maximilian Teschner , until May 5, 1959.
