Gustav Mertens
Gustav Mertens (born December 16, 1899 in Krefeld , † after 1965) was a German administrative lawyer and senior district director .
Career
The doctor of law was City Director of the City of Mönchengladbach from 1922 , Mayor of the City of Dülken from August 1932 (and until 1934) and Mayor of the City of Kempen from July 1934 to June 1945 . He then became the chief district director of the Geldern district . After his retirement, on October 1, 1965, he was appointed acting chief district director in the Schleiden district .
He was a member of the Catholic student association KStV Suevia Cologne.
