Gustav Policella (born September 14, 1975 in Neustadt an der Weinstrasse ) is a former German football player .

Career

Policella began his career at SG Mußbach . He then played for 1. FC Kaiserslautern , from which he moved to SV Waldhof Mannheim in 1991 . In 1993 he was used for the first time in the second division. After an interlude at Eintracht Trier , he joined 1. FSV Mainz 05 in 1996 . The four seasons there were the most successful of his career. He then played for two years for MSV Duisburg and one year for SpVgg Greuther Fürth in the 2nd division.

In 2002 he went to the regional league: first he was active for Kickers Offenbach , then for Fortuna Düsseldorf (one season each) and for Wuppertaler SV (two seasons). In 2008 he played for KFC Uerdingen 05 in the Lower Rhine League .
