Frej Gustav "Gussi" Rydergård (born July 9, 1984 in Falun ) is a Swedish handball player .

The 1.98 meter tall and 105 kilogram heavy cyclist began playing handball in his youth at Samuelsdals IF and Redbergslids IK . From 2006 he was under contract with Alingsås HK , with whom he won the Swedish championship. Since 2009 he played for the German Bundesliga club TSV Hannover-Burgdorf , which he left after the 2013/14 season. For the 2014/15 season he moved to Dinamo Bucharest . From July 2015 he was under contract with TBV Lemgo . In the 2016/17 season Rydergård played for the second team of TBV Lemgo and was also an assistant coach for the first team. From summer 2017, Rydergård went hunting for goals for the upper division TSG Altenhagen-Heepen . In 2018 he took over the coaching position of the A-youth at TSG Altenhagen-Heepen as well as the post of youth coordinator. After Rydergård was unable to play a game due to injury during the 2018/19 season, his contract was terminated by mutual agreement in February 2019. He also ended his coaching work at TSG.
