Gustav Schaefer (politician, 1863)

Gustav Schaefer (born June 13, 1863 in Striegau ; † after 1932) was a German farmer and politician ( DNVP ).

Life

Schaefer attended the secondary school up to Obersekunda , then completed an agricultural apprenticeship and was the owner of a medium-sized country estate from 1887. In addition, he worked as a civil servant, including as a district taxator in the Goldberg district . In addition to his professional activity, he was the second chairman of the Goldberg agricultural district association, which elected him an honorary member in 1920. He was also a member of the supervisory board of Mittelstandsbank Liegnitz and a member of the board of trustees of the Goldberg agricultural school .

Schaefer was councilor in Goldberg and from 1913 to November 15, 1918 a member of the Prussian House of Representatives . In February 1921 he was elected for the German National People's Party (DNVP) as a member of the Prussian Landtag , to which he belonged until 1932. In parliament he represented constituency 8 (Liegnitz).
