Gustav Theodor Friedrich Derscheid (born August 18, 1827 in Trier , † after 1890 ) was a German judge .

Life

His father was the Protestant government secretary Wilhelm Derscheid. After studying in Bonn and Berlin, he passed the auscultation exam in 1847. In 1850 he passed the trainee exam in Cologne with "good". He passed the assessor exam in Berlin in 1854. Then he was an assessor at the Trier Regional Court . In 1856 Derscheid was transferred to the Court of Justice in Wittlich and appointed justice of the peace in 1857. In 1869 he was promoted to the district judge in Saarbrücken. In 1871 he became a councilor at the newly created court of appeal in Colmar , and in 1874 he became president of the regional court there. In the same year he was appointed to the 1st BGB Commission. In 1879 Derscheid moved to the Second Civil Senate of the Imperial Court , to which he belonged until his retirement in 1890.
