Gustav Trittel

Gustav Trittel (born February 9, 1865 in Nöschenrode , † February 21, 1929 in Berlin ) was a teacher and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Trittel attended the Graefliche Gymnasium in Wernigerode until 1884. He then studied classical philology in Tübingen , Jena and Halle and passed the teaching examination in Halle on July 6, 1889. He served his probationary year at the Stiftsgymnasium in Merseburg from 1889 to 1890. There he remained as a scientific assistant teacher until 1891. At the same time, he taught at the agricultural winter school in Merseburg. From 1891 to 1892 he worked as a scientific assistant teacher at the Princely High School in Wernigerode. Since the prospects for classical scholars were becoming increasingly unfavorable, he studied history and geography in Halle in 1892/93. The exam he passed on June 9, 1894. After he had worked as a scientific assistant teacher at the Princely High School in Wernigerode from 1894 to 1895, he was elected in 1895 as a scientific teacher at the city school of Greiffenberg in Silesia. On October 1 of the same year he went to the developing municipal secondary school in Oschersleben , where he worked as a senior teacher until 1905 after the school was recognized. At that time he was called to the high school in Nordhausen , where he stayed until 1911. In 1911 he was appointed to the grammar school in Neuhaldensleben .

From 1917 to 1918 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Magdeburg 5 ( Neuhaldensleben , Wolmirstedt ) and the National Liberal Party . From 1921 until his death he was a member of the Prussian State Council for the DDP .
