Gustav zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg

Gustav Wolfgang Wilhelm Christian Friedrich Prince zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg (born May 20, 1837 in Berleburg ; † April 1, 1889 there ) was a German nobleman and member of parliament.

Life

Gustav zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg was a member of the noble family of the Prince Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg . His parents were Albrecht zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg (1777-1851) and his wife Christiane Charlotte Wilhelmine Countess zu Ortenburg (1802-1854). Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg was a Protestant denomination.

As a registrar, his brother Albrecht had a number of privileges, including a virile vote at the Provincial Parliament of the Province of Westphalia . As a registrar he was allowed to be represented there. So he was represented at the provincial parliament in 1868 by his brother Gustav.

Marriage and offspring

Prince Gustav married Marie von Gemmingen-Hornberg on September 24, 1878 (born November 22, 1855 in Babstadt; † October 10, 1946 in Berleburg ). The following children emerged from the marriage with Marie:
