After various tenants, vacancies and a motorcycle club, the "Beringhof community" revitalized the property with their alternative lifestyle for several years. The then owner Wolfhard von Boeselager , his daughter Ildikó and her husband Franziskus von Ketteler sold the property to the Müller family. A comprehensive renovation with new buildings for horse breeding, including a 25 by 60 meter riding hall, was carried out from 2006.
