The Gutspark Annenwalde is a private but publicly accessible park in the Annenwalde district in Brandenburg, which belongs to the town of Templin .

The park is located southwest of the village of Annenwalde on the north bank of the Densowsee . The complex is characterized by old trees and art objects.

history

It was created as an estate park of the manor house in the village of Annenwalde, founded in 1754. In the 1920s, the Berlin paper manufacturer Max Krause had the manor park and manor house redesigned. During the GDR era, the park became overgrown.

In 1997/1998 the renovation of the park began. The Glashütte Annenwalde eV association eliminated wild growth and rubbish. Several thousand flower bulbs were planted, old climbing rose varieties and bushes were planted. In 2004 a permanent exhibition with glass art objects by the artist Werner Kothe , based in Annenwalde, was installed in the park . The Brandenburg Minister of Culture Johanna Wanka opened the exhibition in 2004. In addition, there are texts by the local poet Erna Taege-Röhnisch in the park . There is a vineyard in the immediate vicinity of the park.
