Guy Blaise (born December 12, 1980 in Aubange ) is a Belgian-Luxembourg soccer player .

Career

Guy Blaise started playing football in the youth division of Royal Excelsior Virton . In 2000 he joined the first team and became a regular player there after a short time. In 2002 he was promoted to the second-rate EXQI League . In July 2016, Blaise left the club after a total of 16 years.

From 2016 to 2018 he played in the amateur field for the RRC Longlier and since 2018 for ROC Meix-Devant-Virton .

National team

Guy Blaise completed 30 games for the selection of Luxembourg . He made his first international match on August 12, 2009 when he was in the starting line-up in the 1-0 defeat in the friendly against Lithuania . It was also used in qualifying for the 2010 World Cup . At this point, there was no longer any chance of qualifying. Since 2013 he has no longer played a role in the plans of national coach Luc Holtz .
