Héctor Blondet
Héctor Blondet (born May 12, 1947 in Brooklyn , New York City , † September 9, 2006 in Puerto Rico ) was a Puerto Rican basketball player.
Blondet was the star of the Puerto Rican national basketball team at the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich, where he finished sixth with his team. Blondet scored 150 points for his team in nine games. Four years later , he finished ninth with his team in Montreal. As early as 1971 Blondet had contributed to Puerto Rico winning the silver medal at the Pan American Games .
Blondet had a competition weight of 91 kg with a height of 1.95 m.
Blondet is buried in the Cementerio Nuevo de Morovis cemetery.
