Héctor Cárdenas Rodríguez
Héctor Cárdenas Rodríguez (* 1936 in Monterrey ) is a former Mexican diplomat .
Life
Héctor Cárdenas Rodríguez studied law at the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León from 1953 to 1958. From 1960 to 1962 he earned a master's degree in political science at the University of Paris . He joined the foreign service in 1963 and headed public relations at the Mexican embassy in London.
- From 1969 to 1971 he was consul in Philadelphia , USA.
- From 1971 to 1973 he was Legation Secretary at the Mexican Embassy in Washington, DC .
- From 1975 to 1977 he was ambassador to Moscow .
- From 1977 to 1981 he was ambassador to London .
- From 1981 to 1985 he was ambassador to Dakar ( Senegal ) and at the same time accredited as ambassador to Gambia and Cape Verde , then from 1985 to 1989 in Riyadh ( Saudi Arabia ), and from 1995 to 2001 in Cairo ( Egypt ).
In 2004 he was an employee of the Financiera Rural
