Héctor Chiles

Héctor Rubén Chiles Huaca (born February 11, 1971 in Cristóbal Colón , Ecuador ) is an Ecuadorian road cyclist .

Héctor Chiles began his career in 1992 with the Colombian cycling team Pony Malta-Avianca. In 1996 he took part in the road race of the Olympic Games in Atlanta , which he did not finish. In the next year he won the overall ranking of the Vuelta al Ecuador . He won this again in 2001 and 2002. He also finished third in the 2002 Pan American championship road race. In the 2005 season, Chile won a stage at the Vuelta al Ecuador and was able to win the overall standings again. In 2009 he won another stage in this country tour.
