Vuelta al Ecuador

The Vuelta al Ecuador (also Vuelta ciclística al Ecuador and Vuelta ciclísta a la República del Ecuador ; German Tour of Ecuador ) is an Ecuadorian road bike race .

The stage race was first held in 1966 and has been part of the UCI America Tour in category 2.2 since it was held in 2007 . This makes it the only international bike race in the country. The record winner is the Ecuadorian Pedro Alvaro Rodríguez , who won the race a total of five times.
