Héctor González Baeza

Héctor González Baeza (born March 16, 1986 in Barakaldo ) is a Spanish road cyclist from the Basque Country .

In 2006, Héctor González won a stage each at the Bidasoa Itzulia and at the Bizkaiko Bira. In 2007 he finished second in the Circuito Montañés and third in the Spanish U23 time trial championship. At the end of the season he drove for the ProTeam Saunier Duval-Prodir as a stagiaire and got a professional contract from 2008. In his second year there he took part in the Giro d'Italia , where he was 103rd overall. In 2010 and 2011 González drove for the Greek-Spanish Continental Team Heraklion Kastro-Murcia . There he won a stage at the Tour de Beauce and at the Tour de la Guadeloupe .
