Héctor Macchiavello (* allegedly September 21, 1903 ) was a Uruguayan football player .

Career

society

Goalkeeper Macchiavello played at club level at least in 1935 for Racing Club de Montevideo in the Primera División . In 1939 he joined the Club Atlético Peñarol . With the "Aurinegros" he was in the squad until 1941. However, during this period he was only in 1940 alongside Julio Barrios , the regular goalkeeper of the previous season, in the goal of the Montevidean core team. Another source asserted that it belonged to Audax Italiano in Chile from 1938 to 1945 cannot correspond to the facts to this extent.

National team

Macchiavello was a member of the Uruguayan senior team . He played his first international match on December 4, 1932 as part of the Copa Río Branco against Brazil. He was part of the Uruguayan squad at the South American Championship in 1935 , when Uruguay won the title. There he came on January 18, 1935 in the encounter with Chile for his second and last international match.
