Héctor Santiago Tapia Urdile (born September 30, 1977 in Santiago , Chile ) is a former Chilean - Italian football player .

Club career

Tapia is a national of Chile and Italy. He started his career at Colo-Colo and then played at AC Perugia , Colo Colo , OSC Lille and Cruzeiro Belo Horizonte, among others . He then moved to Unión Española for one season before he was signed by FC Thun to solve the striker problem there. In 2009 he was under contract with CD Palestino , where he ended his career.

National team

Tapia was also a member of the national team of Chile and completed 14 international matches for this between 1997 and 2004, in which he was able to score three goals. In 2000 he was able to win the bronze medal with the Chilean selection at the Olympic Summer Games in Sydney , but was not used in any game.
