The Hôtel du prêteur royal (German city palace of the royal pawnbroker) in Schlettstadt , a French city ​​in the Bas-Rhin department in the Grand Est region , was built in 1763. The Hôtel particulier at No. 4, 6 rue Sainte-Barbe has been classified as a Monument historique since 1929 .

The building complex consists of a residential building facing the street with a round arched passage, which is flanked by columns and adorned with the alliance coat of arms of the Fels family and the Lords of Rebstock , and other outbuildings in the courtyard. The physicist and mayor Bernard Joseph Fels was the temporary owner of the building in the 18th century.
