Höskuldur Thórhallsson

Höskuldur Þórhallsson (German transcription Höskuldur Thorhallsson , born May 8, 1973 in Akureyri ) is an Icelandic politician of the Progress Party .

Höskuldur is a lawyer and has worked at the Reykjavík District Court, in a law firm and as a lecturer in business law at Reykjavík University.

From 2007 to 2016 he was a member of the Icelandic parliament Althing for the Northeastern constituency . Most recently, he was chairman of the parliamentary committee for the environment and communication as well as a member of the special committee for the rules of procedure of parliament and the constitutional and supervisory committee. From 2013 to 2016 Höskuldur was also chairman of the Icelandic delegation to the Nordic Council . He was President of the Nordic Council for 2015.
