The Høgfonnaksla ( Norwegian for High snowfield shoulder is) a high and rocky mountain ridge in East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . In the Borg massif , it forms the northern end of Høgfonna mountain .
Norwegian cartographers, who also named it after the name of the mountain Høgfonna, mapped the mountain ridge using aerial photographs and measurements of the Norwegian-British-Swedish Antarctic Expedition (1949–1952).
