In the Bay Húsavík í Vikum beginning Eastfjords Islands in the north.
The deserted place in the bay is also called Húsavík. The coast here was so far removed by the sea that the graves of the cemetery were washed into the sea. The bay can be reached from Bakkagerði . The path is 20 km long, but only 8 km of it are developed. This Loðmundarfjarðarvegur, the slope F946, leads further into the Loðmundarfjörður fjord .
