Transport links
The abandoned town of Húsavík can only be reached via a slope from Bakkagerði . From Egilsstaðir on the ring road , a spur road leads to Seyðisfjörður and another road to Reyðarfjörður and from there through the towns of Fáskrúðsfjörður and Stöðvarfjörður to Breiðdalsvík. From here the ring road runs again along the coast. A dead end road leads from Reyðarfjörður to Eskifjörður and Neskaupstaður.
