Hüncheringen ( Luxembourgish Hënchereng , French Huncherange ) is a village in the municipality of Bettembourg , canton Esch an der Alzette , in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg .

Hüncheringen is located in the Alzette valley on the national road 13. Neighboring towns are Bergem in the west, Nörtzingen in the south and Fenningen in the west. The Mierbach flows through the village and flows into the Alzette here.
General and history
Hüncheringen is a church village where the Lords of Hüncheringen lived. The von Hüncheringen were a branch line of the von Rodemachers . They owned a castle near the present-day town, which has now disappeared and was first mentioned in 1236.
In the south of the village, directly on the river, is the Hüncheringer mill, which was in operation until the 1990s. The parish church of St. Josef in the town center was built around 1903.
