Nörtzingen ( Luxembourgish Näerzeng , French Noertzange ) is a village in the municipality of Bettembourg , canton Esch an der Alzette , in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg .

Nörtzingen is on the right bank of the Alzette . Direct neighbors are Schifflingen , Bergem , Hüncheringen , Bettemburg, Budersberg and Kayl . The railway line Bettembourg - Esch / Alzette (part) runs through the village , Nörtzingen also has its own train station.
General
Nörtzingen is a larger part of the municipality and is divided into a northern and southern part by the railway. The small Andreas chapel is a Gothic- Baroque hall building, the choir dates back to the Gothic era, the nave was built around 1758.
