HV Sheshadri

HV Sheshadri ( Kannada ಹೊ ವೆ ಶೇಷಾದ್ರಿ , Hindi हो वे शेषाद्री , born 1926 in Bangalore , then Mysore , British India ; died 2005 ) was an Indian author and social activist. He was one of the most important leaders of the Hindu nationalist cadre organization Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).

biography

HV Sheshadri graduated from the University of Bangalore with a Masters Degree in Chemistry .

In 1946 he became a Pracharak (full-time worker) of the RSS and played an important role in the RSS organization in Karnataka.

In 1982 he received the Sahitya Akademi Award for his work Torberaulu . For his work The Tragic Story of Partition about the partition of India in 1947, he also received recognition from Sita Ram Goel and Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee .
