The HC Einheit Halle 05 eV was a handball club from Halle (Saale) . The club ran two men's teams and youth work. The first men's team played in the Central German Oberliga and finished the 2012/2013 season in seventh place.

The club was founded in 2005 through the merger of the HC Halle (the merger of the former SG Dynamo Halle , from 1969 SG Dynamo Halle-Neustadt , and the BSV Ammendorf ) with the HV Einheit 95 Halle (formerly BSV Einheit Halle-Neustadt).

Both founding clubs were temporarily able to compete in the then third-highest division of German handball, the regional handball league . In March 2002, the two clubs to shut syndicate SG HC unit hall together, the 2002/03 first played in the regional league under that name. In April 2005 the HV Einheit 95 Halle was dissolved as an association and the HC Halle eV was renamed HC Einheit Halle 05 eV.

The successful youth work was rewarded with the B youth championship title in the 2012/13 season. The top scorer of the Saxony-Anhalt League, Nicolas Berends, played a major role in this. He was the top scorer with 226 goals and 55 goals ahead of second on the top scorer list.

After the dispute and the insolvency of the operating company of the men's team of the HC unit, the youth department and the men's team were incorporated into the USV Halle .
