HD 114783 b is an exoplanet that orbits main sequence star HD 114783 every 496.9 days . Due to its high mass , it is believed to be a gas planet .

discovery

The planet was identified using the radial velocity method in 2001 by Paul Butler , Geoffrey Marcy , Steven S. Vogt et al. discovered.

Circulation and mass

The planet orbits its star at a distance of approx. 1.17 astronomical units and has a mass of approx. 327.4 Earth masses or 1.03 Jupiter masses.
