The planet was determined using the radial velocity method by Michel Mayor et al. discovered in 2002 .
Circulation and mass
The planet orbits its star at a distance of approx. 1.31 astronomical units and has a mass of approx. 375.1 Earth masses or 1.18 Jupiter masses.
