HD 185269 is a spectral class G star in the constellation Cygnus, about 150 light-years away . The celestial body with an apparent magnitude of 6.7 mag is orbited by an exoplanet with the systematic name HD 185269 b with an orbital period of 6.84 days and a minimum mass of around one Jupiter's mass. The Hot Jupiter was independently and almost simultaneously by Johnson et al. and Moutou et al. discovered with the radial velocity method.
