John Asher Johnson
John Asher Johnson (* in St. Louis , Missouri ) is an American astronomer and astrophysicist .
In December 2002 he received his MA in astrophysics from the University of California at Berkeley and in May 2007 his Ph. D. In 2012 he was awarded the Newton Lacy Pierce Prize for Astronomy .
Johnson is currently working at the University of Hawaii .
He is the discoverer of numerous exoplanets , including:
